Annual Credit card Fee SGD500???

We have to be careful when we use a credit card. The bank sent me a statement requesting an annual fee of SGD500????

I requested to waive off the charges. They said they will waive off this year but for next year I have to pay for the annual fee.

It is ridiculous that they charge me 500 for simply a card. What service did I receive from the bank? Nothing!

I cut the credit card into half and next time I will think twice before I accept a credit card from a bank.
