Its Thanksgiving!

It's thanksgiving today.
Hmm... what should I give thanks to...
I received a gift from a friend in America, family and friends for their love and support.... TOO MANY!

Maybe I would like to share about my experience for my wisdom tooth extraction.
Before I go for the surgery, many people came and told me .
It's going to be painful, and feel awful for the next few days.
However, I took their comment with a smile in my heart...
On the day itself, I did not recall any of the negative comments made by them.
I greet my dentist . I trust him. He is a very experienced dentist.
I began to breathe in and out and relax as I sit on the recliner ready for the surgery.

The dentist was using different tools to take out the wisdom tooth.

The sight didnt bother me as I continue to remain calm, and relax.
I used self hypnosis and quantum touch techniques throughout the session.
Viola, when the dentist says its done.
I opened my eyes...... it was a pleasant experience.
I did some grocery shopping in the department store before I go home .
Took some rest.
I did not take any painkillers. I just run energy on my cheek. There was some discomfort but by faith I continue to run energy.... and went to sleep .
I wanted to thank the universe .....................Happy thanksgiving.
Guess my friends in America are having their yummy turkey.... :-)

Give and recieve

Today as usual I had lunch at the coffee shop.
There was an old lady sitting besides me.
She is very kind hearted and is wise.

She gave SGD10 to an old man sitting right opposite her.
The old man was not comfortable accepting it but the kind hearted lady says its okay as she understands he is a retiree its her joy to give.

She even share with him that if we do good we could gain good karmna into our life. To give we also receive.

I smiled as I listen to her while taking my lunch.
Interesting conversation .

Learn to Love Yourself

During my quiet time, I was listening to this song and it is so inspiring.

LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF

You're hurting
Uncertain
Alone again
Still searching
For Someone
But so afraid

You'll try for love
And you'll cry for love
Til you learn to love yourself

You'll lie for love
And you'll die for love
Til you learn to love yourself

The answer is sleeping
Inside your heart
True love that
you long for
that's where it starts

You'll try for love
and you'll cry for love
till you learn to love yourself

Breathe it out and breathe it in
Trust the light that shines within
Let it burn til you learn to love yourself

Feel it in your heart
Deep inside you know
How beautiful you are
Love will lead you home

Dinner for Today . Home made Steak

I love eating and cooking at home.
It's more nuitritious and of course an additional ingredient call 'LOVE' or In Japanese 'AI'.
It's always YUMMY.
Today's MENU
Chicken Steak
Price : Priceless
Ingredients:
Chicken Meat
(Marinate with Blazin'Blends Steack Sauce from Boston)
Mashed Potato
(Salt and Mayonaise)
Grill the chicken, garnished with salad and its DONE!
Simple isn't it?

Smile in good times and bad times

I had been reflecting several issues in my life. Work, relationship and personal direction.
I came to realise I should stop looking deep into these issues.
Come to think of it there is nothing to ponder over it.
I've learnt to let go! Leave it to the universe and take care of all my concerns.
WE CAN"T CONTROL OTHER PEOPLE's WILL BUT WE COULD CONTROL OURS.
When I became enlightened over it, my face beam with SMILE.
A GENUINE SMILE SMILES ALL TIMES .
IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD TIMES
And I felt my shoulders are so much lighter.
It's Saturday today.
I'm gonna relax, do some simple cooking , listening to my favorite music and enjoy my weekend.

Stop and smell the rose!

It had been a busy year for me!
Trying to juggle many projects at a short time.
I decided to slow down a bit and stop and smell the rose!.
I love to buy rose and charge with positive energy using the quantum touch techniques.
It would last for more than a week and the smell is fantastic!
Thank you quantum touch.
Allowing me to enjoy the rose longer. :-)

焼きそうばー大好き Yaki Soba

It's off day and I decided to cook Yaki Soba for lunch.
This menu is very popular among children during their summer holidays in Japan.
Basic ingredients are
cabbage, meat, shitake, carrot .
Of course you may add whatever you like.

You can buy the yaki soba in the supermarket all we have to do is fried all the ingredients first and then add the noodles last. Add a little water to soften the noodles.

Tada! Delicious yaki soba is ready. Tuck In!

Every experience in life, is a growing opportunity

Time really flies. Its been three years since I came back from Tokyo. It was a tremendous growth for me in spirit and mind.
I had been searching to find my mission and purpose in life. I've tried to find it through religion but it doesnt change me at all.
An inner transformation came when I found the answer through my inner soul. No one gave me answers to my problem. When i start to search through my heart, I had found answers to all my questions in my life.
Many people in the world went round and round in their life, but if we were to quiet our heart, divine answers will come.
Inner peace will come naturally. and thats when we start to transformed.
I recall a movie call " the passion of christ". at the last scene where Jesus Christ was raised from his death and walk out his tomb with a new energy and strength.
I felt i was like that scene. Dead before but now walk towards my future with confidence and a mission.

Where is starbucks?

After lunch my friend and I were looking for starbuck for a cup of coffee.
We passed by a souvenir shop and we ask this owner if there is a starbuck nearby. To our surprise, he said what is Starbucks?
We were very surprise how could anyone doesnt know this giant coffee chain which could be found in every parts of this world.
Keeping our self connected to the ever changing environment is very vital.
To keep learning and growing is endless or we might miss out enjoying living life to the fullest!

Spoon bending -I did it! Awesome!

Articles about spoon bending had been coming to me for the past weeks. I was really curious how they did it.
My desire to do it myself prompt me to take a spoon from my kitchen and wanted to experience it.

Being a quantum touch practitioner, I raise my energy level and within 2 min I could feel the spoon got very warm. And I started to bend the spoon.

Viola, the stainless steel spoon was as soft as a rubber.
I could bent the spoon EFFORTLESSLY!

My new discovery had convinced me even further what I have always been believing.
OUR ENERGY IS WHERE OUR THOUGHT IS!
All matters looked solid but actually all things including us is made up of atoms and molecules.

With grace and gratitude,

Angeline

Ratatouille

Having heard alot about the good reviews about this movie, I decided to
to watch 'Ratatouille' over the weekend. Indeed it had a very deep storyline and some audience even clapped their hands when the show was over.
I felt I was like this rat. This rat has a dream. The dream is to be a cook working in kitchen operate by HUMANS.
The father keeps reminding him that he is just a rat. A rat that is often hated by the humans. He wanted him to give up his impossibe mission and face the fact that he is just a RAT.
However, this rat never gives in to what others tell him. He listen to his own desire. He says I just want to cook, refuse to be like a theif stealing food from humans.
Some cooks in the kitchen was shocked to see the rat working in the kitchen but in the end they came out fantastic menu and the guests Love their food!.
The rat never gives up and in the end he owns his own restaurant and he could provide more food for his rat family. The rat family doesnt have to eat food from the garbage!
I like the rat's character. He dares to be different . He tries to walk upright instead of using his forelegs to walk.
The storyline inspires me alot. It reminds me not to give up. Hold on to my vision and dream and persevere.
With grace and gratitute

Daily Insights

He who gains a victory over other men is strong; but he who gains a victory over himself is all powerful.
Lao Tzu

To live life to the fullness, we need to have a consious awareness of our strength and weakness.

It is more meaningful to reflect upon what we have gained or overcome today .

Never regret !

Make it a rule of life never to regret and never to look back. Regret is an appalling waste of energy; you can't build on it, it's only good for wallowing in.
Katherine Mansfield

I came across this message and it speakes into my heart.
I recalled the times when I had made mistakes and also times when I decided on something which no one would do it like I've decided.

Sometimes I reflected upon them and ask myself if I had made the right choice.
This message comes at the right time. Reminding me not to look back.

I think its true. As a saying goes: " What's the point of crying over a split milk!"

Look forward to the future!

A day at Orchard Road

It was a sunny Sunday and was glad to have met my friend for lunch. We had Korean food at one of the restuarants in takashimaya.

Orchard Road is one of the tourist spot in singapore. Or well known as a shopping paradise.

Sunday in Orchard Road as usual is always crowded with people.

It was our first time having the Korean food at Takashimaya. It was nice! Especially their ginseng chicken soup.

We really shared alot and we decided to have coffee at starbucks after doing some window shopping.

It was a relaxing Sunday.

Miso Ramen

It's a wonderful Sunday. Not too warm though humid. It was a cloudy day today.

I decided to cook Miso Ramen for dinner. I love to take Ramen especially during winter in Tokyo.

It tastes especially nice ! Its Japanese culture to eat with loud sound to show that it is delicious.

But Im still not used to eating loudly.

Having brought up in Singapore taken local Chinese food, stayed in tokyo and then been to America and tasted their western food. I should say I would still think Japanese food is still the best! Their menu is always very balanced.

When I was staying in Tokyo, I would often cook miso soup, grill fish, steam vegetable, some pickles for dinner. Very well balanced, isnt it?

I learnt alot from the Japanese how to cook a balanced meal. I really want to thank this lady whom I always take her as my mum when I was staying in Tokyo. She is very patient to teach me. I really miss her. Hope to visit her one day soon. Always praying for her health.

My cooking style when I was in Tokyo. is 60% Japanese, 20% chinese and 20% western food

I love cooking. Unfortunately when Im back to Singapore, the cooking time had lessen due to work.

I cooked only on the weekends. But my passion for cooking is still there. :-)

I love cooking !

Quantum touch-Knee cap pain

After work today, went to visit a friend who had been suffering from eczema for many years. Having not seeing her for two weeks, Im concern how she is doing.
Had a good therapy session with her and she felt less itchy on her skin. She told me her mum had knee cap problem.
After running a 30 min session, she said her knee cap doesnt hurt anymore. Before the session, she mentioned the muscles on the leg is very tight. After the session, she felt the tight muscles had loosen up.
Good for her and glad to know her leg is better than before.
Another wonderful and fulfilling day !
Tomorrow will be better and better .
With grace and gratitude.

Our real enemy.

If man understood that "what I create has nothing to do with what anybody else is creating" then he wouldn't be so afraid of what others are doing.
Jerry Hicks.

I liked this excerpts from Jerry Hicks . Isnt it so true?
We just have to follow our hearts to do what we love to do.
We do not have to worry what others are doing. All of us are unique .
Wiseman just learn to do better than others. The real competitor and worst enemy is ourself. We should learn how to overcome our weakness rather than worrying about what others are doing.

Happiness/Self-fullfillment - Brain Tracy

I was reading my favorite philosoper Brain Tracey and I came across this excerpts that touches my heart.

Happiness comes when you believe in what you are doing, know what you are doing, and love what you are doing Brain Tracy

Most of us are brought up to use our left brain. In school we learnt how to write , calculate the answers for maths using formulas, etc.

Many people neglected our right brain as we grow older each year.
Have you forgotten or didnt you remember people how people recall that their most happiest moment in their life is in their childhood?

Hence why majority of the people would go into depression or stress as they grow older.

Consider your life again? If you not happy with you life, recheck and ask yourself what you have not done which you could have done to your life?

Happiness is in your hand no matter what situation you are in.
I'm happy with my current life. Pusuing my profession allows me to find out more about myself day by day.
We use alot of our mind in the modern days, isnt it 'logical' to protect and train our mind to.

Sharpen our saw like what Stephen Convey likes to mention in his book First things First.

Believe in what you are doing despite we receive different opinions from other people.

Im back to my office

I'm back to my office. Wow, I can't imagine the mails that I have to go through so many mails and the follow ups. Anyhow I go through them at my pace without giving myself unnecessary stress.
Fortunately when Im not around, Japan HQ is having their summer holidays so there wasnt any much issue or happenings in the office. Whew....... :-)

I had my hair permed in America. The curls are so much different from what I have done before. However I receive positive feedback from my co-workers. Some commented I looked more feminine and sensual than before. :-)

They were glad to see me back and though I was away for just two weeks it seems that I have not seen them for a long time.

United Airline-Economy Plus

While I was doing an internet check-in for my flight tomorrow, was glad to know Ive been upgraded to economy plus seat. Though it does not have business class service but at least the seats are slightly more spacious than the economy seats. :-)

Thank God for everything.
Blessed with a wonderful journey back home.

Not sure when I'll be back to America.
But if there is a real good purpose to do so, I believe I will be here again.

Thank you my friends in America for your warm heart, and care.

I believe this temporary separation is just a beginning of a great work.
Meanwhile, take care my friends in America. So long.....
May your angels always protect you with love and peace.

With grace and gratitude.
Angeline from Singapore.

Last day in Boston

Today is my last day in BOSTON ! How times flies..........
Took a shuttle to a nearby shopping center. Took a look at the office supplies shopping mall and th supermarket.
The weather was pretty nice so I walked back to the hotel with my grocery. :-)
I remembered I walked back to my hotel too on my first day in Marlboro. However the feeling is different this time.
I felt so inner peace and spiritually filled with love and joy.
The knowledge I have obtained from this trip is simply AWESOME!
And the people and instructor whom Iv met is beyond my imagination.
It all started from a simple pure intention of learning more about hypnosis.
I know I'll get busy when I get back Singapore. There were several enquiries about my quantum touch even Im here is Boston ! Its so excited.
Got to go now. Ive arranged to have my hair permed...... RECHARGED and RENEWED!

Last day in the convention - A good deed

Today is the last day of the convention. The participants in the workshop are so marvelous. We were so spiritually connected. We bid farewell but left contacts to one another.
We felt though we are parted physically, spiritually we are still connected.

Its just a beginning of a GREAT work we are going to do on this earth!
Its like we are a group of warriors who had an intensive training in a camp and now we are going out to do HEALING work!. Its ACTION time now.

I received a note from a classmate and I was really touched by what she wrote.
Her eyes were in pain and I happen to meet her in the lobby so I offered to help her by doing the quantum touch. Her eyes got better in just a few minutes.

Im really happy for her!

In September, Im going to do volunteer work in the home for the aged. Looking forward to a great work there.

I choose to be happy

Time really flies. Its almost coming to an end to the convention.

I will attend another two days workshop and I will be back to my hometown.

Its kind of feeling sad to see the convention getting lesser and lesser people.

I came across this passage below written by Jerry Hicks :
We are really advocates of just getting as happy as you can be—which takes care of everything. Even if you don't have reason to be happy—make it up. Fantasize it. Make a decision that you're going to be happy one way or another—no matter what. "No matter what, I'm going to be happy! If I have to ignore everybody; if I have to never watch television again; if I have to never pick up a newspaper again, I'm going to be happy. If I never have to see that person's face again, I'm going to be happy. If I have to see that person's face, I'm going to find something to see in that person's face that makes me happy. I'm going to be happy. I'm going to be happy. I'm going to be happy."

I choose to be happy! :-)

My life in Boston

Its my 4th day in Boston. I m writing to you from my suite room. Im playing Nat King Cole songs. Wow its so romantic and relax. I felt like coming to America is like I have came home. A place that I have felt so close and familiar in my heart.
For some reason I was upgraded to a suite room. It was a big room with mirowave where I could do simple cooking. A living room and a queen size bed..... :-) .My feeling is GREAT! I felt so blessed.
I felt so directed to come for this convention. When I step on board the plane, they were playing my favorite harp music. Its like the world is saying WELCOME ABOARD AND THE JOURNEY.
I did my past life regression workshop for the last two days. It was a REVELATION!
I could see a connection from the things that happen in my present life was actually a reason from my past life.
I sense a clearer vision and purpose in my present life after going through the workshop.

Moreover I met so many like minded people. Their philophy in life is no much difference with mine. Back in SINGAPORE I could hardly find someone who are open to metaphysical things.
But I learnt so much from the people in this convention. We shared so many things about metaphyical things.

Its just the second day of my workshop Im excited for the rest of the days .

I felt if I could stay in America I hope I could stay longr.....:-)

Countdown to BOSTON

Another one more day, i'll be going for my trip.
I need to finish a project before I go so that I could submit my work to my lecturer.

Time is running out!
It's really not easy to have a full time job, a business to build, a family relationship to maintain and pursuing the passion in my life.

But finding balance in life is what I always remind myself. Im enjoying this kind of lifestyle.
Busy with a purpose!

My colleagues are so sweet. They are also counting down for me and wish me have a nice trip.
I received many blessings and well wishes from friends. the positive energy I received from them gonna make my trip even more enjoyable.:-)

Though my parents and siblings are worried cos Im travelling alone.

But Im very confident to go there alone as I know in my heart my guardian angels will guide and protect me. :-)

Boston trip

Two more days and I'll be going for my first trip to Boston. Im really excited cos this trip gonna be a very pursposeful and meaningful one.
Besides spending one or two days touring the city, my main mission is to attend a convention there. To enhance my knowledge and skill as a professional hypnotist.
Whenever I think about going there, my heartbeat beat faster than ever.
Meeting many professionals from all over the world and wonder what adventure or challenges will I meet? :-)
Many years back I make a decision to go to Tokyo but this time I felt the decision to America is felt with more emotions and joy. I know I will come back even more recharged and renewed.
I'll come back and share more!

Harry Potter

Decided to catch a movie over the weekends and went to watch Harry potter.
I dont really like fantansy but this time I quite like the content of this story.

Im not sure if anyone had understood what the author is trying to tell us in her story. Ive read reviews in the yahoo.com but the comments were very superficial. they simply says they like or dont like.

For my personal view, I felt the story is telling us about the problem with the education system in the world. In the wizard school where harry potter attended had a new headmistress. She is really mean and all she cares is to be loyal to her superior. To pleased her boss, she set many rules and regulations to control the students.

What they study in schools are theories and did not teach the students the practical side of how to use the magic ward. Harry potter warns about the coming of the evil one but no one believes him. and the headmistress punished him for telling lies.
harry potter took up the leadership to train his school friends how to use the magic wands to know how defend themselves . He DARES to make the difference!

In our education system, we are taught about the theories but wasnt really have programmes that could teach the students how to stand up for themselves in the real world.

People are always comfortable in their comfort zone that they fear to make changes in their life.
they just belief the systems set by people and the society. cos they believe that is SAFE.

For me i do not want to live such kind of life. I want to live what im called to be not to follow what people think is good. Good in general doesnt mean is good to me.

Many are busy in their life, but do they know what they are busy about.
Many had forgotten to understand more about who they are and why they are here .

No matter how busy we are. Stop and discover more about ourself only then we can give more to our family and the society. :-)

this is my personal views and you dont have to agree to it.
the most impt thing is think about your life.

Success is a journey not a destination

I came across this message and I find it very motivational and positive thinking to my MIND.
SUCCESS IS A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION
I will not wait to become a successful person......someday.
I AM a successful person NOW.
It is my concentration on and devotion to being
successful each
and every day that will let me achieve my future goal.

Have you been feeling down and a sense of negative energy in your life?

If so, allow me to share with you this song,

INSTRUMENT OF PEACE

Where there is hatred, let me bring love

Where there is doubt, let me bring faith

Where there is falsehood, let me bring truth

Where there is pain, I'll comfort you.

Where there is silence, let me sing praise

Where thers is despair, let me bring hope

Where there is blindness, let me bring sight

Where there is darkness, let me bring light

And with these words I speak

Grant that I may not seek

To be heard but to hear

To be consoled but to console

Not to be seen but to see

To be loved but to love

For when we give love we will receive

When we forgive love we'll find reprieve

It is in dying we'll be released

Make me an instrument of peace.

This is another inspiring songs from Olivia New Johns:

LET GO LET GOD

When you can't find your direction

And your heart won't guide you home

Let go and Let god

When your dreams are broken in the dust

And you've lost the will to trust

Let go and let god

Let the signs remind you we are passengers

Let the sign remind you to surrender

When faith's a dying fire

Anf there's no spark to feed the flame

Let go and let God

When your courage fails you

and the well of hope runs dry

let go and let God

****************************************

God here means our universe not particularly refering to any religion.

There are things in my life which I could not control. At that time I learnt to let go of my problem and surrender my problems to the Universe.

We came to this planet alone and leave this place alone.

Problems are just part of our growing and learning process.

When I surrender to the universe , I felt a True Freedom and JOY!

I knew about Oliver Newton Johns through the movie Grease. Its my favorite teenage movie. The songs like summer love, tell me more still runs in my mind.
During my trip to Canada, I was at HMV and I came across this CD. I love the songs . The lyris music is so inspiring.
I would not fail to listen to the songs everyday in my ipod on my way to work. It inspired my spirit in every way.
I would like to share this song
GRACE AND GRATITUDE.
ALL I HAVE AND ALL I FEEL
IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU
ALL I REAP IS ALL I SOW
AND LOVE IS THE LIVING PROOF
THANK YOU FOR LIFE
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
I STAND HERE IN GRACE AND GRATITUDE
AND I THANK YOU
SEASONS COME AND SEASONS GO
NO MATTER WHAT WE CHOOSE
A THOUSAND NAMES
A THOUSAND ROADS
ALL LEAD TO ONE SIMPLE TRUTH

Food culture in Toronto.

In short, their portion is BIG and HUGE.

Ordered a plate of noodles and was astonised to see such a big place.

Guess i could share with two people. Its their standard size.

中華店で焼きそば注文しました。びくりしました。とにかく、お皿が大きいです。

一人は食べられないですね。。。。。。

Japanese restaurant in Toronto

Had been eating fish and chips, pasta in Toronto.
Gotta sick of it and there have been times where I visited Japanese restaurant.
This is the nicest Japanese restaurant I had ever been in Toronto. After talking with the waitress, I realised she is not born in Japan. Her parents came from Japan though.
She said she felt more comfortable speaking English rather Japanese to me. Though I find her Japanses is pretty polite and gentle.
There are many immigrants like her who migrant to Toronto. I realised that certain race would take up certain trade. Example most Koreans would operate a small provisions shops selling groceries . Chinese would open Japanese restaurants. Indians, Sri Lankans would work as taxi drivers.

Emptiness is a symptom

Emptiness is a symptom that you are not living creatively. You either have no goal that is important enough to you, or you are not using your talents and efforts in a striving toward an important goal.
Maxwell Maltz

Have you set a goal for your life? Its never too late to plan for your life.

I had found this link very interesting, check it out!

Just follow the laws

Watching movies are one of the ways I do over the weekends.
The other day I watched the Singapore made movie called JUST FOLLOW THE LAWS.
Its really funny and I had a good time laughing over jokes.
Especially when I see them using EMAILS to 'shot' one another in the office.
Hmm.... The scene seems to be very familiar in the office.
I felt that in this world many people are bond by laws. Often in order to cover their own ' backside' they use laws to justify their deeds. However, I find it very inflexible.
We should use laws as guidelines and not to follow blindly.
Do I think laws or even Company policies are fair? Personally I dont think so.
We are all created differently. No two DNA are the same. Science had proven it.
So how can we apply the same laws to everyone. We should OPEN our consiousness and look deeply into the problem individually. Even our clothes can be custom made. Why not LAWS?
I think Fann Wong is very successful in this movie. She acted very tomboy and she is very daring in her acting. Very different from her normal image.
I remeber meeting her in the TV station. At that time we call it the SBC broadcasting corporation.
She was very young and quiet. She wasnt that famous at that time.

Adversity is another way to measure the greatness of individuals. I never had a crisis that didn't make me stronger.Lou Holtz

Remember to give thanks in all our adversity.
It is an opportunity for us to grow and become wiser.
Have a heart of gratitude and everything happens for a reason.
And it happens for our own good.
Circumstances do not make a man, they reveal him.

James Allen.
