Gun carriage procession and the Parliament House

Started our queue from 2pm from Clarke quay. Though its gonna be a long walk, it didn't dampen the spirit of people. Everyone was very orderly and there's no single complain. While walking slowly towards the parliament, i took this chance to appreciate the scenery and happy to make some friends on the way. We talked and shared about Mr LKY. By the time we reached the parliament it's already sunset at 6 plus. When I walked into the parliament and saw Mr Lee's picture and his coffin, I can't stop my tears from flowing. I bowed as I walked past his coffin, thanking him for everything. Is it worth the walk and wait of 5 hours? Yes absolutely! I'm satisfied and contented that my son and I have the opportunity to bid farewell to our founding Father of this nation. Besides just telling my son about Mr LKY, I could show him our Parliament House as well as let him understand who and why he is so important and precious to us. On the way, we met Mr Lee hsien long and celebrity zong Qin. Mr LKY had given up his life for this nation. Five hours walk is all worth it! Mr Lee, you will be deeply missed.

Grab taxi - An amazing service
Grab taxi service was implemented a year ago. I wasn't aware about this service. I got to know it through my marketing assignment. There was a topic on GRAB TAXI application. I was really curious and downloaded this application into my ipad.
Thank God i did that. Few weeks later, I was to go to three main places for some business documentation. 1) Singapore academy of law 2) Ministry of foreign affairs and 3) Vietnam Embassy.
It rained the whole day!!!. Usually on a raining day, it's difficult to get a cab.
I took this opportunity to download Grab taxi app and it saved my day!
I could get a cab within 5 minutes. Spoken to the taxi drivers and they love it too. Their revenue has increased and they no longer have to drive aimlessly on the road to look for passengers.
